Woman to Woman

Friend, do you ever feel like you are in an obscure place, living off in the middle of nowhere, or anonymously dwelling in a crowd with no particular gifts or talents? It’s okay to admit it. We have all felt like this at some point in our lives.

In fact, Moses felt like that when God called him from the burning bush. And into Moses’ doubts, God spoke, “What’s that in your hand?”

“A stick.”

“Throw it down, Moses.” And the stick became a serpent.

Whatever is in your hand, throw it down. Concentrate on what God wants to do with what you have in your hand. He has a plan.

There are people in your life whom you can impact for their good and God’s glory. The witness of a person who has experienced God’s healing and tells others of it changes the world, one story at a time. And who knows? The person you invest in may one day become someone God uses to do mighty “Moses-like” works. Never devalue the impact you can make for good. God can do much with little when that little is consecrated to Him. Trust Him with what is in your hand.

Why We Do What We Do

“Dr. Evans,

I heard you on the radio talking about how God takes us through detours on the way to our destiny. It was almost like God had been listening to my heart's cry and answered it before I even had words to articulate it. Thank you so much for your passion for the Word." - Denise
