I thought I would begin by introducing myself. I’m the oldest child of Tony and Lois Evans. My parents' legacy has encouraged me both as a wife and a mother of five—two adult daughters and three homeschooled sons. Their godly example also carries me forward as a grandmother to my two adorable and energetic grandchildren.
For many years, I’ve worked alongside my mother at our local church as she ministered to women. Together, we hosted Bible studies, conferences, fellowships, retreats and more. I have also appeared in several online video trainings with my mother as a part of her ministry to pastors’ wives. Most recently, we filmed Legacy from the Kitchen with my sister, Priscilla, and my daughter, Karris. Serving with my mother in ministry has been a joy. I had an opportunity to understand her heart and passion for the Lord and making Him known to the women she served.
With the passing of my mother, my father asked if I would be willing to continue her ministry to pastors’ wives in her name. I quickly and eagerly said yes! While I am not a pastor’s wife myself, I have certainly been able to watch one of the best from the honor and privilege of my vantage point as her daughter.
I want you to know that my mother and her team planned an entire year of ministry just for you! Monthly topics are already outlined to offer encouragement, guidance and training to meet the needs expressed by members of the pastors’ wives community. You will also hear from personal friends and writers that my mother trusted to carry on this ministry.
I hope you are as excited as I am to see what the Lord will do in and through the Pastors’ Wives Ministry as we continue on this journey together.
