    Kindness In The Culture

Coronavirus is not the only pandemic in our world today. We’re also facing an epidemic of unkind words and actions. Many people seem to have no filters these days. They feel free to say whatever harsh, nasty or unpleasant thing to comes into their mind without considering the consequences. On the internet, in their communities and even in their homes, people are being hostile to each other, showing little patience and not taking the time to temper their speech. The result is a culture of unkindness, and sadly this can even be seen in the way people in the church communicate.

    We can do better.

    We must do better.

It’s time for a revolution of kindness in the culture. It’s time for us to speak with more kindness toward others and show kindness in our actions. Let’s let people see the love of God demonstrated in the way we treat each other. To help you do this, The Urban Alternative has created “Kindness in the Culture” cards, which are a tangible way you can use to spread the message of kindness, love, and respect.

You can request your “Kindness in the Culture” cards in bulk and have information about your church printed on them. It’s a great way to begin changing the tone of our culture! They are available here: Kindness In The Culture Cards

GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE

Meghan found her purpose during one of the darkest periods of her life. Her addiction to drugs led to homelessness and hopelessness, and it tore her apart from her family. She was placed in a court-ordered program where she came into contact with the ministry of Dr. Tony Evans. His message of hope and purpose helped turn her life around. Listen to her tell her inspiring story:
