We’ve been looking at a process this week that is very important. You must first know you are united with Jesus Christ, then you must reckon or count it to be so. Now I want to show you that you must yield to your new identity in Christ.
When you open your utility bills this month, I would like you to think about something. The power and water you are paying for is what you actually used last month. If your bills are like most of ours, December is a busy month. So, your bills may be higher than usual.

When Christ was tempted in the wilderness, the angels did not come and minister to Jesus until after Satan left. I’ve always wondered, “Why would the angels come after the conflict was over?” The answer, I believe, is sometimes God leaves us alone with only His Word. Sometimes there seems to be little support, little encouragement, no friends—only God’s Word. The question during these times is, “Is God’s Word sufficient?” The answer: “Oh, yes, it is!”
“Follow the Leader” is more than just a child’s game. The newsstands are filled with magazines featuring leaders from the business world, entertainment and sports. Our young people mimic the lifestyles of role models that do not represent a godly influence.
